About Us

AFSCME Maryland Library Workers United (Local 6359) is made up of over 1,000 library workers across Maryland, including the Howard County Library System (HCLS), Anne Arundel County Public Library (AACPL), and Enoch Pratt Free Library in Baltimore. Together, we advocate for the fair compensation, safe workplaces, and respect that we deserve.
